Shih Tzus - "The Other Babies"

I started 3 years ago looking for a puppy for my autistic son. After much research I got him our "Benji". They truly have a special thing going on. Patrick would pick him up by his legs and carry him around like a rag doll (never mind I'm running behind the two of them ready to rescue).

Benji would pretty much let him play with him anyway he wanted---tail wagging the two of them bounding back and forth on the hardwood floor,at times I didnt know who was chasing who.

This summer I thought Benji needed a friend....enter Teddy (oh boy) Teddy is a Shorky,he weighed 6 oz when he came home. He is ...well..BAD!! They have gotten along better than I expected. Benji treats him like he is his baby. Even with the chewing everything, much need of attention and occasional squabble, they are just part of the family and we couldnt love them more!!
