Paw infection?

by Margaret
(Raleigh,NC)

My male Shih Tzu appears to have an infected rear paw. It is quite red and is draining watery fluid. Is there some way to treat this at home, or do I need to see a Vet?

When in doubt see a vet
by: Ed

When you are not sure, see a vet. It sounds like he may have an allergy and may be licking but I'm sure he is worth the time and money. The vet is the only check I write with a smile.

Agree with Ed

Hi Margaret

I would have to agree with what Ed said. Best to play it safe and see your vet about this one.
