My Shih Tzu is the BEST

We have a Shih Tzu. She is the best little dog. I did get her as a puppy from a breeder and I carefully researched the breed prior. Our family then only consisted of myself, my husband, our 6 yr old daughter and our infant daughter. We wanted a small dog that did not shed and was good with children. Our dog named, Nala, grew up with our smallest daughter. She tolerates really everything. She is GREAT with children - actually you could not ask for a better dog. She LOVES to play. She is almost 7 years old now and we have another daughter who is 2. Nala is really the best!!!! She is energetic when she plays and calm in the night. She is a little lap dog at times. I would recommend the Shih Tzu breed to anyone. I do think though that bringing a puppy into your life, if you have small children is the best route. The puppy grows with your family.
