Oscar Lhasa apso/ shih tzu

Oscar is nearly 2 years old and is very affectionate at home with us and his miniature schnauzer little brother,but can show signs of going into a rage with certain dogs when on lead, he really is a jekyll and hyde.

He was quite dark coloured when a pup but is now very light in colour, almost white with a few beige patches, he tolerates being combed and loves having his ears rubbed.

He can look very regal sometimes but at other times be a total scruffbag, but then can't they all.

Geordie shih tzu lhas apso x

We just got Geordie yesterday from a rescue foster parent. We lost our Bichon of 13 yrs. to cancer.

He appears to be adapting quite well, and we had a quiet nights sleep and no accidents. Today he has been mostly lying around and we actually had to lift him off the bed at 9 AM. Took him for a 3/4 mile walk today and he enjoyed that.

I just read someones info saying this breed is quite active, but i also read where the author said they are quite laid back and lazy.
So who do you believe?

We are taking him to our vet tomorrow for a check up and we also found his right dew claw hasn't been clipped for some time as it looks like it's grown inward like an ingrown toe nail and he won't let us touch it.

WHY PEOPLE GET BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS LIKE THIS GUY AND THEN THROW THEM AWAY IS BEYOND ME.

Tio Joe was born in 2008. I brought him home on the weekend before Father's Day and he has been the man of the house ever since. He is my little companion and I try to take him everywhere I go. He is cute, funny, smart and stubborn; so he fits right in with the rest of the family. I can't remember life without him and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have him.

Very laid back, easy going puppy.
Brought him home, and he fits right in.
Very intelligent for 8 weeks old.

My fur baby, a five year old female was purchased from a breeder when she was 15 months. This is my fourth Shih Tzu.

I was dumfounded when my daughter arrived with her. She is big. Weighs 20 pounds. My other three were 10-15 pounds. Reading your site, I am now convinced that she is a mix with a Lasha. The breeder was insulted when I originally suggested it, but your site convinces me otherwise. Thank you.
