Mocha Shih Tzu Yorkie

My husband and I were out one day and stopped by a local pet store. We had no intention of buying a dog. As I walked through the store "oohing" and "awwing" over all the cute faces and wiggling bodies. I requested to play with this little ball of energy. As I held this little ball, out of the corner of my eye I saw another tiny very calm puppy laying in the corner observing the commotion and looking directly at me. I asked my husband to get the store clerk and tell her I wanted to hold a different puppy. I asked the clerk what kind of dog I was holding? While asking the question, the puppy crawled his way up under my chin and fell asleep and I fell in love. Mocha immediately melted my heart and continues to do so.

He is extremely intelligent. He was potty trained in less than two weeks. He recognizes ringtones according to particular family members and immediately gets excited, its the cutest thing to watch. He greets me and my husband at the door daily. He has helped to teach me how to love unconditionally. I will forever be a shorkie lover and owner.

Shorkie - Nahla Pooh

Our Shorkie, Nahla Pooh, is a great addition to our family. My daughter and I fight over who she is going to sleep with every night because we both want to be close to her. She loves to play with her favorite purple ball and demands that we play fetch with her for hours. She loves to take walks; but we are still trying to get her to stop pulling/leading on her leash. She is a fussy eater and likes what she likes. She is a very smart puppy, she can figure out how to climb and get whatever she wants no matter how high we place items. She loves to take baths and have her photo taken; she has an awesome personality. I live in an apartment and she is small enough to run and play with her ball inside, but of course we take her out several times a day for walks and playtime with the other dogs. Potty training has been very difficult but has gotten better over time. She is 7 months old and uses her potty pads when left alone and can't go outside. We are working on consistency because she will for attention if left too long have potty accidents throughout the house. I love my Nahla Pooh, she is loads of fun.

Sadie - Yorkshire Shih Tzu mix

Sadie is wonderful in every way, except sometimes she wears me out with all of her energy. She makes me laugh and is my constant companion. We travel a little and she is loved by all who meet her. She is smart, happy, beautiful, and she loves me. I am 60 now and have lots of time alone, so Sadie has made a difference in my life. She is only around 8 pounds but she is just the right size. She has richly blessed me and we make a good family.

Seauxfi, a Shorkie, is so smart she has my husband and I trained! She tells us when it's time to go to bed. She is spoiled and we like it that way! She is shy around new people and will bite if she feels threatened.
